Gavin Wright, Group CEO of Wellcrop Global Ltd, is committed to lifting smallholder farmers out of poverty and creating a sustainable farming sector where farmers earn between $3 and $5 a day. Chanda Mayaka is the Managing Director and Founder of Wellcrop Zambia, dedicated to advancing chemical-free farming and sustainable agriculture. Her mission is to empower women, youth, and smallholder farmers across Zambia by creating pathways to improved livelihoods through climate-smart agricultural practices and financial inclusion. Chanda is deeply committed to transforming the agricultural landscape by restoring soil health, promoting eco-friendly farming solutions, and providing training that fosters independence, financial empowerment, and long-term prosperity for Zambia's next generation of farmers. Her leadership ensures that sustainable farming becomes both a viable and profitable model for communities across the country.

Andrew Sacks
Andrew Sacks, Chief Financial Officer at Wellcrop, holds a BA Honours in Accountancy and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA) in England & Wales. With over 20 years of experience, Andrew is known for his strategic financial leadership across international industries. He has led cost restructuring, sales strategy development, and complex financing initiatives, including capital injection and re-financing. Andrew’s expertise in renewable energy has been instrumental in developing solar, wind, geothermal, and waste-to-energy projects. His global experience and board roles provide him with the strategic insight needed to drive financial success while advancing sustainable initiatives, ensuring Wellcrop’s long-term growth and impact

Nilesh Kumar Vadasola
Nilesh Kumar Vadasola Manjibhai, Chief Scientific Officer at Wellcrop, leads the development of climate-smart, organic, microbial, and biological products that restore soils and reduce reliance on chemical inputs. His innovative approach harnesses the power of microbes to enhance soil fertility, improve water efficiency, and reduce the need for synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. By promoting biofertilizers and biopesticides, Nilesh helps farmers boost productivity while protecting the environment. His mission centers on restoring degraded soils, improving resilience to climate change, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Through farmer education and practical solutions, Nilesh empowers communities to adopt sustainable practices.

Godfrey MunYoro
Godfrey Munyoro, the Acting Director General of the Zambia Cooperative Federation (ZCF) and longstanding Business Development and Projects Manager, is a champion for revitalizing Zambia’s cooperative movement. With over eight years at ZCF, he has spearheaded initiatives to diversify cooperative activities beyond traditional crop farming, aiming to establish cooperatives as key economic drivers and major contributors to Zambia’s GDP. Munyoro envisions a vibrant cooperative sector that generates employment, boosts economic resilience, and reduces national unemployment. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to transforming cooperatives into commercial ventures that enhance livelihoods and sustainable development across Zambia.
